When we created Map It: What Comes Next, we wanted students to have opportunity to have different types of assessment. We adapted several assessments (AIR, TAGG, Cruiser) by adding American Sign Language video translations for students who use ASL to communicate. These assessments have never been translated into ASL before. Students are able to access the assessments in their first language and hopefully get more accurate results. Here is an example of the layout I designed for one of our assessments. This is a screenshot from the Values assessment. The student watches a video stimulus and answers the prompt below it.
