Many Deaf and hard of hearing students struggle with written English. Learning to read for a deaf person is very different than learning to read for a hearing person. To be sure students understood the new vocabulary we introduced in our training, we added American Sign Language video clips of the words we added to the glossary. Here is a sample below.
